San Francisco, California

I have spent this summer being as adventurous as I can be and allowing myself to explore beyond my comfort zone. One of the trips I got to experience many adventurous firsts on was a one-week trip to San Francisco. It was my first time in California and I enjoyed exploring the place, learning about its history, and meeting many cool people whom I have kept in touch with since I returned to Washington.

San Francisco was not only a time to decompress, but it was a time where I got to reflect on where I come from and the aspects of locations that I enjoy most as it felt like a mixture of everywhere I had been or lived before.

Plants were so beautiful in California, so below is a collection of some of my favorites (although I think I took pictures of every plant in California). Some of my other favorite memories are trying popeyes for the first time, buying too many bracelets and beanies, and sliding down to the beach from the highway after listening to coldplay while walking through the zoo.
