Portland Trip

About a month before spring break, I decided to book a trip to Portland. The experience was only a day long, but it brought out an adventurous side of myself that I do not get to explore often. I found myself taking busses from one random side of the city to another side until I would find a "cool" stop, and I repeated that process for about six hours until it was time to head back to Seattle. One of the most memorable parts is that I got to fulfill one of my goals for the trip--meeting someone new, which I had talked to on the way back on the bus for hours. Experiencing Portland alone was my first time planning my own solo trip and it instilled a newfound sense of responsibility, especially in the safety sense.
